World Card Making Day Creative Event

World Card Making Day Creative Event

Join us on 1 October to celebrate World Card Making Day. During this free virtual event we will come together as a crafting community to do what we all love—make cards!

Besides being a favourite holiday for papercrafters, World Card Making Day gives you the perfect excuse to craft and make cards!  So circle the date on your calendar, and get ready all the supplies you need to make cards for your loved ones.

How can you watch and participate in the event?
A few days before the event, I will have access to the SU link that I can share and which you can use to access the live event. There will also be a shareable link to www.stampinup.com.au where you can access the event.

Contact me for more information, including the product supplies needed to make the Stampin' Up! projects and project preparation cutting measurements!

Happy stamping.

Wedding Wishes

Wedding Wishes

So my gorgeous youngest sister was married a couple of weeks ago and of course I mad the wedding card for her and Cam her new husband.

I was a bit stuck for ideas actually.  I had a million things to do, and finding creativity wasn’t on the list that day. Thank goodness I was inspired by two cards on Pinterest.  Click on this link & here for my inspiration.

So after a beautiful wedding - here’s my card to share today:

Stamp Set: Curly Cute
Papers: Whisper White, Mint Macaron & Soft Suede CS
Inks: Soft Suede
Other: Linen Thread, Sending Love Embellishments, Doilies & Rhinestone Gems
Big Shot: Softly Falling embossing folder

Dream Catcher

Dream Catchers

Gosh I love Dream Catchers.  I don’t know, maybe it’s the mystical, maybe it’s the romance, maybe it’s just the wish.  But whatever, I love them.  I’ve even made a few of late.

So when One of my gorgeous nieces had her birthday in April, I decided I just had to make a card using a Dream Catcher die from my stash and I had found a gorgeous card on Pinterest for inspiration.  Click here for the link!

But here’s my card to share today:
Stamp Set: Watercolour Wash
Papers: Whisper White CS
Inks: Blushing Bride, Gold
Other: Sequins, Gold Embossing Powder & Liquid Pearls

Oh So Succulent

Oh So Succulent - Is retiring.

Oh So Succulent.  One of my most very, if not the only, favourite stamp set from the current Occasions catalogue which is about to retire soon.  Oh so sad for me (but not really, as I’ll be keeping this set in my stash!).  SO time to start sharing the projects I’ve made.

This one has been completely inspired by Pinterest – one of my most favourite websites to visit and get lost in J Of course, I can’t find my PIN to link the card I was inspired by, but I’ll come back ASAP as soon as I find it.

But here’s my card to share today:

Stamp Set: Oh So Succulent
Papers: Whisper White & Basic Black CS
Inks: Daffodil Delight, Mint Macaroon, Lost Lagoon, Blushing Bride, Black
Other: Sequins and Silver glitter Washi Tape
